I find that these things flair for 2 reasons: 1) Gut inflammation (from stress/ lack of sleep/ too much on/ a particular food) and 2) Hormonal bursts as they grow. Actually it’s probably also 1) because it’s the body trying to detox the large amount of used hormones that causes inflammation and liver struggle especially if Epstein Barr Virus is in the system (which it is for 80% of us). Eating anti inflammatory foods for a period, more veg, more broth helps long term. The only remedy that worked for us was mixing a small amount of healing balm with a few drops of iodine and applying this every few hours. Hope this helps!

Yes! That sounds like a thyroid craving mineral rich food! You’ve actually inadvertently set me back on the straight and narrow here: I was being seduced by ideas of the carnivore diet, but it’s my liver that needs all the loving first. I’m creeping towards a gallbladder cleanse. Once that’s done, more meat and fat 4 me!

So good to hear!! I’m researching heaps on this at the moment. I feel like treating thyroid for years has been like throwing paper aeroplanes at a giant bolder. I need a shift! Maybe some time as a carnivore is what I need!!
